Haikus

Becoming

Wounds that lift in time

Shift the weight of scar and pain

as water smooths sharp edges

Not My Cat

A feline chose me

our days are intertwining

light pause taunt the shade

History

Undulating truth

in drag, masquerading as

dark nursery rhymes

Laughter

A signature

of the soul, human barking

rippling fancy

Forgive

You fed me bees when

I was sleeping, stinging heart

till I let them be.
